Gwen Cooper has opened an eclectic fashion and memorabilia mercantile display of retail spaces from yesteryear. The display features items from renowned stores of the past from Charlottesville, Richmond and Petersburg, Virginia. Ms. Cooper has selected key stores that are iconic to each of these cities. The Charlottesville and Richmond examples focus primarily on fashion stores. For the City of Petersburg, the mercantile display showcases a very wide variety of past retail stores and collections related to the history of the city. As an ongoing feature in the store, there is a collection of reference books on the State of Virginia and the City of Petersburg. Items will be for sale in the store's main retail showroom. Fashion shows featuring fashions exclusively from the display's branded collection will be offered. This amazing space is now.
